The config page allows to not only set some configuration parameters for the RAP application itself, but also allows to setup the Users, Groups and Sites.

Access to the RAP application is controlled by a User/Group structure. A user is setup by entering a username, email address, password and Group association.

Groups are defined in order to break down user access by roles. These roles are enforced through permissions at this group level.

Permissions provide/restrict access to each of the main level pages in the RAP application or global admin permission through “SysAdmin”.

If you wish to setup a “Master RAP” which has direct access in to ‘child’ RAP instances you can define such child instances here. By entering the child RAP connection details you will be able to seamlessly switch between master/child instances from within the same browser session, without the need to re login.
